Interview - Christian L'enfant Roi

Contrast of heritage coming along an African and tribal spirit, a divine folklore expressed by opulent prints and heady colour opposition. Christian L'enfant Roi interprets a modern exploration through different shades of orange, brown, grey, punctuating the beauty of eclectic shapes and volumes. The Autumn/Winter collection gives a poetic state of mind glorify by a rare and personal vision of the standards.

"How can you express the soul of your garments ?"

Christian L'enfant Roi
"My work is a reflection of the boys/men I dress. I create universe in which they can exist. At it's core, it is a form of utilitarian bespoke loungewear meant for a subdued peacock"

"What makes you believe in Fashion ?"

Christian L'enfant Roi
"I am not sure I have to believe in "Fashion". It exists. For me, it is found in the most minute details or in the most random places. Certainly, the most beautiful thing is to find a person who embodies elegance and eloquence with a clear vision of aesthetics without having any consciousness of the latter"
